Why does 14" blade only cut 5"
Troy,
If you take a 14" blade and divide the diameter by 2 you're left with 7". Less 1" for the arbor and another half inch each side for a clearance away from the arbor leaves you the 14" diameter.

Regarding MK's standard steel core and electroplated core blades. What are the benefits for a customer in buying a electroplated core over a steel core blade?
